Wendy is a celebrated CEO and board leader and is an active mentor/advisor for global tech accelerators, including Techstars, Gener8tor, and early stage portfolios, including Steve Case’s Rise of the Rest network. Wendy leverages a global network of entrepreneurs to influence culture and help companies build dynamic talent engines.
Wendy has applied her expertise to help enterprises such as P&G, CVG Regional Airport, Kroger and Fifth/Third Bank accelerate growth and develop new revenue streams. Recently appointed to the Danaher Water Innovation and Technology Board, Wendy serves on the P&G Ventures Advisory Board and select venture-backed startup boards. Currently she seeks opportunities to serve boards of global, publicly traded companies.
Wendy works closely with public-private partnerships in the State of Ohio, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and Taiwan on their innovation strategy. She is an advisor to several university innovation and entrepreneurship programs, including the Louisville Entrepreneurship Acceleration Partnership (LEAP), Miami University's John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship, and the University of Colorado Boulder's Engineering and Applied Science Advisory Board.
Wendy has been named a "Woman of Influence" in Silicon Valley and San Francisco and is the inspiration behind the Wendy S. Lea Female Founder Grant by Main Street Ventures and The Robert A. and Diane J. McDonald Family Foundation. She was honored with the Signal Excellence Award in 2018 by Procter & Gamble and University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business Distinguished Service Award. Wendy lives in Boulder, Colorado.
