An experienced executive officer with over three decades of Consumer package goods experience, Mel has focused her career on leading multinationals (Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and S.C. Johnson & Sons) in Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela and the US. During her 25-year tenure at P&G, she most recently served as Group President for North America, where she was responsible for revenue of over $30bn. Prior to that Mel was Group President/CEO for one of P&G’s largest sectors (health care, feminine care and adult care categories).
Mel is a Co-Founder and a member of the Investment and Operating Committee at H Venture Partners.
Mel currently serves on the boards of Verizon, PPG, Target & Hilton and previously served on the board of UrbanSitter, a Series C stage technology startup in Silicon Valley that connects moms with babysitters, and Beckon, a marketing technology company that was acquired in 2018. Mel is also a senior advisor for Bridgepoint Capital.
