Alex Tosolini is a seasoned executive who brings significant experience in business strategy, sales, marketing, supply chain, e-Commerce, and M&A. A 30-year veteran with a proven track record in the consumer goods and retail space, Alex most recently served as Senior Vice President of New Business Development at the Kroger Company. In his most recent role at Kroger, Alex was focused on creating strategic opportunities and led Kroger’s recent partnerships with Ocado and Walgreens as well as working on company-owned brands like Simple Truth. Alex’s role was focused on helping Kroger, which is the largest grocer in the US and the largest retailer after Walmart, transform to compete against new entrants.
Alex is a Co-Founder and a member of the Investment and Operating Committee at H Venture Partners.
Previously, he served in numerous global leadership roles over a 24-year career at Procter & Gamble, including as Senior Vice President Global eBusiness, Vice President Fabric Care North America, and General Manager Central Europe North. There, he lived and worked in multiple countries on brands like Pampers, Tide, Pantene, Olay, Gillette, and Downy. As head of eBusiness, he worked on partnerships with then ‘startups’ Google and Facebook, P&G’s direct to consumer businesses, and all major online retailers around the world.
Alex is a frequently sought after speaker at consumer and retail events. Alex is also an Adjunct Professor of Strategy at Miami University for the Executive MBA program and serves on the Strategy Committee Board at UC Health.
